Profesor Ahmad Ibrahim telah mencadangkan 3 garis panduan ke arah pelaksanaan undang-undang Islam di Malaysia:

1.Pemansuhan Akta Undang-Undang Sivil 1956 yang menjadikan undang-undang Inggeris sebagai sumber dan ditukarkan kepada undang-undang Islam.

2. Memindah peruntukan dalam Perkara 3 Perlembagaan Malaysia dengan kata-kata, "Mana-mana undang yang bertentangan dengan undang-undang Islam hendaklah terbatal dan dianggap tidak sah setakat mana ia bertentangan itu."

3. Mengadakan syarat di semua kanun dan akta bahawa jika tidak ada peruntukan dalam kanun atau akta itu,mahkamah hendaklah merujuk kepada undang-undang Islam.

Pada pendapat aku, sekiranya Undang-Undang Hudud benar mahu dilaksanakan di Malaysia, banyak peruntukan undang-undang yang perlu diubah.

Antaranya, bidang kuasa Mahkamah Syariah mungkin perlu diluaskan lagi berbanding keadaannya sekarang, di mana kuasa Mahkamah Syariah masih terhad kepada nilai denda tertinggi yang boleh dibicarakan hanyalah RM5,000, manakala bagi kes jenayah,turut termasuk sebat tidak melebihi 6 rotan dan 3 tahun penjara.

Kelayakan bagi penjawat jawatan Hakim Syarie harus diperketatkan.Bukan aku nak kata kelayakan sekarang ni terlalu longgar,tapi mungkin dari dasar perlaksanaan.Tambahan lagi, masalah yang berkaitan agama Islam yang bergelumang masyarakat pada zaman sekarang bukan hanya tertakluk kepada cerai nikah sahaja. Macam-macam timbul.Tu tak termasuk lagi setiap pihak beriya-iya mahu mempertahankan hak masing-masing tanpa memikirkan tentang orang lain, baik dari pihak badan-badan bukan kerajaan mahupun dari kapasiti individual.

Undang-undang Hudud pada dasarnya sememangnya telah dinyatakan di dalam Kitab Suci Al-Quran.Tetapi dari segi perlaksanaan undang-undang tersebut bukanlah mudah.Sekiranya timbul keraguan baik dari segi kredibiliti saksi, beban pembuktian, kebanyakan pendapat ulama' berpendapat hukuman seharusnya berada di bawah ta'zir.Jelas bagi menunjukkan bahawa perlaksanaan hukuman bagi kesalahan hudud bukanlah semudah yang disangka.

Aku tak berkesempatan untuk membaca rang Undang-Undang Hudud yang diusulkan oleh kerajaan negeri.Tapi aku cuma harapkan sekiranya benar mahu melaksanakan undang-undang hudud,perlu ada kesedaran menimbangtara semua aspek.Bukan sekadar untuk memperlihatkan bahawa sesebuah parti itu mengetengahkan imej Islam.

Islam itu adil kerana Islam itu cara hidup.

Selain daripada itu, Perkara 121(1A) yang menjelaskan, "mahkamah-mahkamah yang disebutkan dalam fasal (1) tidaklah boleh mempunyai bidang kuasa berkenaan dengan apa-apa perkara dalam bidang kuasa Mahkamah Syariah." Tetapi banyak lagi akta lain yang menghalang penguatkuasaan hukuman yang telah diputuskan oleh Mahkamah Syariah seperti Guardianship Infants Act.

Kekangan lain adalah akan adanya perselisihan di mana apabila si tertuduh yang melakukan kesalahan Hudud adalah seorang lelaki Melayu Muslim dan seorang lelaki berbangsa lain bukan Muslim. Percayalah, melihat kepada keteguhan semangat individual mahupun NGO sekarang, pasti akan adanya perselisihan dan masing-masing akan mula mempertahakan suara sebagai 'hak asasi manusia'.Hakikatnya,negara kita didiami oleh penduduk berbilang kaum dan budaya.Harmonisasi itu perlu.Tetapi, bagaimana caranya,itulah yang patut diketengahkan.Mungkin rang Undang-undang hudud tersebut punya solusi.Wallahualam.

Aku bukanlah Muslim yang menentang perlaksanaan Hudud di Malaysia. Tetapi kadang-kadang aku lihat sesetengah pihak cuba mengetengahkan Hukum Allah tanpa punya sistem 'enforcement' yang efficient bagi menjamin keberkesanan undang-undang tersebut.Apa yang aku faham, undang-undang Islam ini bukanlah bertujuan menghukum semata-mata tetapi haruslah menjadi iktibar masyarakat setempat agar tidak mengulangi masyarakat yang sama.

Aku juga kurang senang dengan tulisan seorang social activist and academician ini, yang menulis bahawa sistem pentadbiran yang diamalkan di Malaysia sejak dari dulu telah mengetengahkan konsep Islam.Tidak aku nafikan,ya,sedikit sebanyak,tetapi Islam itu bukan hanya sekadar nama.Bagi aku, korupsi itu dikeji.Tetapi,bila difikirkan balik,bukan orang yang di atas sahaja yang melakukan korupsi,tetapi penjawat -penjawat jawatan rendah pun sentiasa perlukan 'duit kopi' untuk terus hidup di Malaysia yang semakin hari semakin tinggi nilai kos hidupnya.

Selain itu, aku turut kurang senang dengan pendapat yang mengatakan bahawa melihatkan negara-negara yang mengamalkan undang-undang Islam ini biasanya agak mundur dari segi ekonominya.Bagi aku,itu bukan salah undang-undang itu.Tetapi sekali lagi,cara perlaksanaan dan mentaliti masyarakat itu sendiri.Sistem ekonomi hanya akan meningkat produktivitinya sekiranya enjin dan sistem mesin itu bergerak seiring.Tak boleh la sekadar undang-undang gah hanya di tulisan.Siapa yang menggerakkan fungsi tulisan berdaftar itu?

aku bukanlah sesiapa ternama.tetapi sebagai warganegara sah yang memerhati.tak ada niat untuk aku mengaibkan sesiapa.tulisan aku adalah tulisan budak baru belajar.kalau salah,tolong tunjukkan.sama-sama kita belajar.

Heavy Bags Caught My Attention.

Have you ever had the moment whenever you're away from the keyboard,you'd have thousand of things to pour but once you're staring at the screen,there will be none left,in a blink?

Here I am,staring at the screen in the middle of the night after 2 hours of attempt to sleep.Sigh.This is home,should have been easier to simply shut my eyelids.The blame goes to the coffee that I had earlier this evening.

The first place I went once I reach K-Town was the dental clinic.I am turning to be a faithful patient for the last one year.I was a little bit earlier for the appointment and the weather was extremely fine until I even had to wait in the car to satisfy myself with the perk of the air-cond.I was caught up with the tense of the examinations until I even forgot it was no longer holiday for the school attendants.

There were few students with the school uniform passing by the clinic.I can't help but to notice the...

bags they were carrying around.

Those children were carrying their school bags as if there were bricks and stones they had to carry all around during the school hour. If I were to have pictures to show you,these would be the perfect resemblance:

I mean like, come on. Those bags are way heavier than their own weights. I used to have this kind of problem when I was in school. And I used to be the kind of who doesn't really enjoy sharing books.I always double check my school bag the night before to ensure all the books for each subject arranged accordingly, even most of the time the teachers were not even using some of them.Now to remind that again,how blindly obedient I was.

Well, after almost more than 10 years since I left my primary school days, I thought things would have change.Even a bit or two.Brokenheartedly, it seems like it is as it always was.

I find it a burden to even watch them carrying around those heavy bags.Most of the schools nowadays had only one session,it's either in the morning or the afternoon.Why can't let them put the books in the drawer?All they have to do is just to bring the books needed for homework purposes (as it was a never ending story in school days!) back and forth. Even if the school has the two sessions system, there should be budget allocated for the build of locker for each class for the students to store their books.

It's a burden when you have to wake up early in the morning,hurry breakfast,carrying heavy bag trying to catch the bus before it leaves you,what more during rainy days. Heavy bags cause you an arse back pain.

Even the body posture would be deteriorated.I suffered one,hence I was speaking by experience. My mother used to remind me when I was small, "Please sit properly or else you'll end up like Hunchback of Notre Dame".Grrrr.That's scary.

Like seriously, they are having for like what, 6 or 7 subjects per day and 3 or 4 books for each subject.Now imagine that were to happen in the college/university.No more poise and macho fella and young girls around as the books are heavier problem to think about.

I guess it's about time.No more heavy brick and stone bags hanging on the back of the primary school children.There must be a way or two to solve this.I though the children are the voices of tomorrow that we eager to protect from getting hurt?

ps: If you notice, my major concern was the primary school students.Just because I'd always like to think that those 'abang & kakak sekolah menengah' are rebellious in nature.So, they would just either place their schoolbooks (or sometimes not just the schoolbooks,even magazines!) in the desk drawer or simply leave them at home,couldn't care less about anything.

Somehow,they know not to place themselves with encumbrances.Unlike the kids, whatever being told to them,they'd obey it without asking of its rationale.

Just imagine this:

Teacher:Esok cikgu nak semua bawa gam,kertas warna dan gunting ke sekolah.Nak buat kolaj.Siapa tak bawa esok, cikgu denda.

Primary school students' monologue: Balik rumah kena suruh abah beli kertas warna.Kalau tak nanti cikgu cubit perut.Takpun kena pulas telinga.

Assalamualaikum Cinta!

Today is a beautiful day. Everything falls to its place but for one thing. I tuang one class.Gosh!I was overslept and promise that I will go the class tomorrow for other section.I'll make replacement at 9 am tomorrow morning.

Well, the day started wet this morning. It was too cold and comforting enough to be on bed cuddling the pillows and you know,dreaming.

The faculty is currently having its festival and I kinda like the mood and environment surround it.The event speaks for itself. It was fascinating to watch your friends from making pizzas, selling shawls, conducting games and many more. It was just a feeling that I know I would miss one day. Apparently, I was the only daughter back at home and this explains why I simply enjoy being on campus. I have friends,closely to me.Sometimes, I feel like I have a family here. :')

I joined the Darts Competition and also Putting Green. I used to play darts when I was little and it's simple. Yes, simple enough but still, tak menang juga! :P

Well, at least I tried!

I later rushed to Main Audi to meet this one old friend of mine. I miss her so much! Our last time having conversation was at a friend's sister's wedding. Ambik kau! It was almost 1 hour we talked. and talk again. and another talking and laughing. I even met her mother too as she was planning to open a convenience shop in my campus. I am so excited!

Later in the evening, I went to the booth once again since I was on duty to ensure the operation room runs smooth at that time. Had the chance to meet and finally talk to this one friend of mine, heart to heart.I may not be having any boyfriend, or much experience in all this, but I know things too. She's glittering and it's a beautiful feeling. I'm glad and wishing things go with a perfect flow for her.

I am planning to watch these...

Singapore is a Fine City.

It was my first visit to Singapore. My journey began at 11.45 am from LCC Terminal Sepang to Changi International Airport which took approximately around only 1 hour to arrive there. Well, it's AirAsia. I normally warn myself earlier before boarding not to expect too much from the service and boom... I would always suprise myself with warm greetings and service from them. Delay for 10-15 minutes was tolerable for me as I was not in a hurry.

As soon as we landed, we went to the hotel straight away by cab. One thing to note, it's much easier to get cab here than in hometown and most of the cabs here were comfortable rides.It cost around $16 from the airport to V Lavender Hotel.

The hotel was fine.I've seen its pictures before of our room and I've read some reviews from Tripadvisor.Com.They were all complaining of its limited space.It's Singapore,after all.The location of this hotel was tremendously perfect.It's located next to MRT Lavender Station.(though we did not experience it as we were taking cabs throughout our whole holiday)

We went to Orchard Road.Well, they said it's a shopping heaven.I find the rate here is not as cheap as I expect it to be.Bear it mind that the currency rate for Singapore Dollar is RM2.40 equals to $1.Two times higher dow!But the design for each shop is far more up-to-date than what we have here.Even the Bata sells beautiful designed shoes there!Victoria Secret body spray was cheaper. $16 per bottle and I grab myself 1 bottle of Wild Scarlet and another by Jennifer Lopez for special occasion purposes.

It's quite hard to find good Malay food in Singapore unless you're in Geylang Street and Kampung Bugis. But Pasar Lau Pa Sat is pretty good to. You can get satay, murtabak Singapore and some tomyam. The price is a bit overrated,for me.Once again,it's Singapore. The murtabak cost me like $15! I'll post the Murtabak picture on Facebook soon. Malas nak buka card reader.

Then we went to Vivo City. They claimed it to be the biggest shopping mall in Singapore.It's new and located at Harbour Front,somewhere near to Sentosa.Forever 21 here is sooooo much cheaper than any other place that I've been to. Shopping sakan la!

Arab Street is a must go place. Lots of Middle Eastern delicacies and shisha sold here. And also carpets. I love Arab Street because it looks just like Bangsar and Bandung on the back alley.

and do not forget to hop yourself to Kampung Bugis. The market there sells cheaper price for souvenirs. Like so much cheaper compared to Orchard Road. And I scored myself an A4 sized envelope clutch here with a price you can never believe!

Lastly, drumrolls please to Universal Studio Singapore. Thousands of pictures being snapped here and the trip was paid off. Sentosa is a nice place to go. And I love Far Far Away the most! It has gigantic beautiful castle there. But the upload system doesn't work now,so yeah maybe next time.

Oh yeah! Changi Airport owes a super strict security ever. I still remember when I almost lost my Immigration Pass on our way back to hometown. Even the Air Asia officers were cuak and help me to search around! Lucky me the pass was dropped off on the Check In Counter.Cuak dow! The immigration there was soooo strict. I always knew my long name would cause me trouble one day. As my full name doesn't fit the blank when I made the online ticket booking,so I use the shorter name. What I mean here, as one may write "Kampung" as 'Kg.". Yes, something like that. The Air Asia crew was worried of my real identification name might cause suspicion to the Immigrations. Thank God, they helped out. And pheww..here I am,typing this out in my room on campus!

All in all, I find Singapore is a fine city. Squeaky clean and full with disciplined people. But I love Malaysians friendliness & warm attitude if there were comparisons between the two. More smile please, Singaporeans? :)

I'm done with Singapore. Where next? Shall we go together this time? :)

When I first step in this place called Baitul Husna, I was with my friend named Fiza. I initially texted her about this place that I discovered online. I was supposed to be on semester break and before it began, I searched about some places for some volunteer work. Since my main concern most of the time is about care for women and children, I keen on to focus on places like orphanage, pediatric wards at the hospital, and any shelter home.

You see, being the only daughter in the family spoils me. I rarely share my bedroom with anyone and up until now I secretly have problem sharing space with people in a room. Oh Em Gee. Mengada kan. But I can't deny it though. I love my own space but as time passes by I learnt it slowly. Well, you can't have it all in this world,you know! You gotta give what you have sometimes.

Which explains why I was eager to get involved.

And finally, I choose a place where at that time, I haven't heard the place's name from anyone nearby back at home. So, I invited Fiza to tag along and explain the whole thing. I gave a call to Encik Hilmi, which is the runner of the place. I asked few questions and he welcome us with warm greetings.

Alhamdulillah, finally me and Fiza know where we could help in. Other than spreading the message to the local community about the place, we also volunteer for night tutor. All the kids there are girls and aged around Primary School children till 13 years old. Well, they don't have much but pretty enough to keep us occupied all those nights.

Later, as I get in touch with those Assuntarians, I invited them as well. Some of them are really interested and even help us in tutoring.

One thing I learnt from this journey, the children' reactions there are different and vary between each other. They love attention and tend to be more sensitive sometimes. There were times when I forgot one of the girl's name, and she merajuk. I felt bad the whole night. Thank God, I was able to pujuk her back! :)

Different girls with different backgrounds and experiences. Different exposures and capabilities. And therefore, different ways of approaching them.

Alhamdulillah,some of my family's friends were there to help. Same thing goes to my friends families. They extended the news and message about the place. See! Never underestimate the power of spreading the message around! If we can't help but our friend do so, insyaAllah we might be rewarded for that as well,God bless. Just spread the message!

I just got back from visiting them again just now with two friends. It's been a while I haven't been there due to my schedule. Syukur, I see the place is now paint in purple! Better place for them and even a huge table for them to study. God bless those who help and pray!

Tomorrow is a brand new day. I shall cleaning up my mess, starting tomorrow. I shall be alright. Everything goes back to normal. I shall be just fine. I shall be strong.

Assalamualaikum! I'm still doing my internship at one of the law firms here in Kuantan. All in all, I'm kinda falling for it. I love the job & the people around my office. They have been really helpful,kind and patient enough to teach me.You know, the newbie's style of work.

Well, it wasn't the story of the three words that I wanna scribble about here.

It's all about another three words that play a major impact in our lives.

Here the story goes...

I went to the High Court yesterday for a trial on drug case. While me and my friend were in our way to the High Court, (note yourself the court is definitely nearby the office, so we can just walk ourselves there), I saw this one couple with one child. It was right in front of the Syariah Court.

The couple were yelling at each other and throwing bags. The girl yelled to the guy, "Ha! Buatlah. Buat aku macam tu lagi!". The guy didn't reply but instead pick up the bags and campak it all the way to the girl. Maybe I can try google some pictures to tell you a clearer picture of the incident. Okay lah. Somehow it was like this picture.

But, the worst sight to see was not the husband and wife...

But...
The child was in the middle of the arguments,yelling and adegan campak-mencampak bag. Aren't you ashamed or something?

Well,maybe I was not being fair to the couple by saying all this due to the fact that I'm not married yet. But a word or two would not do any harm,do they? It's just my opinion and some thought of which I feel it better to be written here. (Because I am not that brave to tell them right onto their face at that time!Grrrr!)

I mean, where all those "I Love You" words go?

Marriage is not always a happy story to tell but to be cliche, it supposedly turn out to be that way. It should be a never ending story to tell. Seeing all those drama, makes me wonder what happened to...

"Aku Terima Nikahnya..." or "I Do, Till Death Do Us Part"?

I mean, where all the love go? Was it just vanish? Was it "just not there anymore"? If so, what will happen to the child? Isn't he has any right to say anything to the parents who were throwing stuff to each other just now? Does the child even understand the situation that he is about to be involved up until he's a grown up? :'(

Not that I'm being a typical, but seeing all of this with my own eyes makes myself a lil' bit of...terrified of marriage, I would say?

It seems as if marriage is a gamble. It's either you win or you lose. If you are just not lucky enough, you will only be stuck in the middle of the joy and the tear. The grey area, the twilight and the eclipse. The feeling torn to two.The bitterness to think of the future but at the same time the tendency to remember the taste of sweetness at the beginning of marriage. How...waste does it cost you in the end?

Well,of course. Not all marriage is a twilight or eclipse.
Some...are beautiful as the sunshine, if only you are lucky enough.

Will my marriage lasts till my last breath? or will it be just like the incident that I just saw yesterday?

I guess... that "3 words 8 letters" is just...another term.

1. KLCC Bridge.

2. Batu Caves

I wanna climb up the stairs and count it. Mama did this when she was a teen! And, I wonder how it looks like inside the cave. Haha sebab tak pernah masuk gua seumur hidup!

3. Masjid Negara

Never been there, not even once. I like the fact that there's no kubah structure built here. The uniqueness of the place. Nak solat jemaah dekat sini satu hari nanti.

4. Saloma Bistro

I'm not sure what's good here but I'm eager to find out especially the food!

5. Malaysia National Library

Jangan la gelak. But I find it's an interesting place. I used to register its membership and was asked to go there and collect the membership card. But it has been a year already, I bet it has been expired dah pon! Mesti seronok dikelilingi buku! Macam dalam Hogwart!

It's the attachment time. I cannot imagine this period of time finally arrive at our studying phase. It's too soon & quick! But I'm excited to learn. I really am.

Been in the office for about two weeks.

It's a lovely experience so far.

The masters are great. They help, they guide, they warn, they smile.

It's a world full of law,files,summons,drafts and etc.

It's enchanting to see how a boss can totally react differently after working hours.

It's a good time for me.

Working is a good distraction. :)

Yeah, that’s John. Dear John.

Have you ever watched the movie? It’s so good. It’s a reality.

It tells us of what are we doing, what are we saying on camera and good looking actors and actresses,of course.

It’s a story of an army falling in love with this girl he met. They dated for 2 weeks. Then, John is off for his work. The girl named Savannah. She make him promise to write and tell him everything happened while he’s away including about John’s father being autistic. They write letters to each other for about years.

Then, one day there was a letter from Savannah. She said she couldn’t do it anymore.So she wants to stop.

At one point, I think it’s a good move. It’s not easy when you’re away from each other. You’ll be hurting yourself. Waiting for the calls,emails,letters etc can be tiring. We couldn’t help but to wait.

John is later on back in Charleston for someone. (you have to see this yourself,it’s really sad & touched). Then, he found out, Savannah has been married to someone that he knows. No, not that typical storyline though. She got married for good reasons.What a noble heart. But then, she herself didn’t know why she agreed in the first place. Try to place yourself in her shoes at that time, I think for some, you’ll do it anyway.

I’m not a good storyteller. I want to write it here but I don’t want to give too much spoiler though.

But you have to see the ending.

It reminds me of ‘just go with the flow’.

No need to rush or pressure yourself in relationship. If it meant to be, it will be. If it it doesn’t, God will show you a better man or woman soon. How soon is soon? You have to wait. Because how on earth would we know?

You don’t have to poison yourself. You don’t have to hang yourself. You don’t have to skip classes. You don’t have to say Yes for sex before marriage because you’re scared he’ll go away.You don’t have to hurt yourself.

And most importantly, you tend to forget by doing all these, you will only be hurting people around you ie your family & close friends. People that actually care about you.

Sometimes I wonder how do people spend too much time with their boyfriends/girlfriends until they even forget to be with their friends. 24/7 stuck together. Don’t they love spaces?

But then again, who am I to say all this. Because everytime I point it out, they will reply,

“You don’t have a boyfriend, so you don’t know what it feels like”.

Ouch! It pinches. How am I going to reply that? Hahaha. I’ll pray for your happiness and lasts till your marriage & the end,of course.

The movie rates at 4 over 5 stars. : )

what went wrong actually?

And so today is 16 March 2011. Another two more weeks and then baaam, final exams will be saying hi and welcome me in their greatest courtesy.

I don't really know what went wrong lately. I am not so sure either if this is simply another PMS. Yeah,that time of the month whereby most girls will be having this abnormal sensitivity.Pardon us,males.

I didn't go to Land Law this morning and this makes me two times in a row for being an absentee in Dr.A's lecture. I got this malas fever last week and so I decided to just keep on tucking in my blanket and dreaming.

But this week,I know I did want to go to his lecture. But it was so wet this morning even I get annoyed to just get out and walk. But wait, I have Dinda. Isn't this supposed to be the main reason I bring her here? (noooo! I asked daddy's permission because I said I wanna go to gym and enjoy good food nearby.)

It strucked my face when this friend of mine replied my text and asked, "Where is Dinda? bawa kereta tak ada reason tak pergi kelas."

I mean, not that I was sulking but somehow I think he's right. You just gotta have someone said that onto your face to revive yourself. Later on, I put on my black shirt as I was supposed to have only one class, I don't really bother to iron baju kurung for today and run into my car and drive. It's already 8.20 a.m. Sheehs,I'm late!

I search for a quick parking spot nearby the Kuliyyah. Those parking spots labeled as 'STAFF' were all full house. I began to think, "Ala sekejap je. at 10am I da cau.Takkan kena clamp kot pagi-pagi park dkt Staff." Unfortunately I was not daring enough to park at any lecturer's parking spot. Fuhh, Gila ke apa!

Then I saw this side parking. I took like 5 minutes to just park there. I have this attitude of not in favor if Dinda is parked senget-yeah even when I am really really late!. Simply because I don't want to interrupt the other drivers way.

I open the door, then I realise...

It was too close with the benteng that I can't even open the door. Right at that time, I feel dizzy and can barely stop sneezing. With this weather, this condition of being late and sneeze and the ulcer in my mouth and the un-openable door, I gave up.

Despite the fact I was just few walks away from class, I drive back to my hostel. Yeah,silly me.

I called my 'youngest' aunty ever, and start whining. She comforts me with the most easy words.

After 1 hour, my stomach was growling. I went to the cafe and search for just a simple breakfast meal, which is cereals or any roti made by that pakcik. Another unfortunate event happened, the breakfast was at the top dull. Erghh! I went to the kiosk and bought chocolate milk.

Here I am, writing or should we call it whining?

then I remember this one ayat in Holy Quran stated about God will never burden us unless He knows we can deal with it. Allah S.W.T is the All-Knowing.

I'll still be whining here though. but at least, I know I have this tiny reminder playing in my head: 'the world goes on. even if you stop.'

till then,

I know I'm still alive.

(baru sedikit diuji perasaan tak selesa macam ni, saya dah bising-bising dekat blog.)

I don't know why but I think somehow we,human misinterpret things a lot. Sometimes we took simple things for granted and vice versa.

1. Going out on a date does not mean you fall for the guy. But you want to get to know him better and allow him to get to know yourself as well. The guy has the potential la but that does not mean whenever a girl went out on a date with a guy, they will be completely falling for each other. If it did not work out, take it as a friend casual meet-ups.

2. Whenever a person said she does not know how to cook, that does not mean she is not willing to learn. She is just taking maybe a little bit too much of her own sweet time.

3. Just because he wears kopiah, it does not mean he can't do jokes.

4. Yes, she online like 24/7. But it does not mean she did not do her tutorials & assignments & study.

5. The most irritating person you found at first can somehow be the one who is going to help you whenever you need help.

6. Whenever a person said he or she is fine at the crucial moment, whoever that person is; you know that it's not right.

IIUM Johor Flood Relief Team

Salam. I just got back from Trip 3 of IIUM Johor Flood Relief Team. We went to Pagoh. Let the pictures tell the journey.

I got new friends! Madi, Bib, Syikin & Mas! These was when we're at uptown around Muar during the first night we were there. Sempat juga I shopping tudung!

Yeah, with another new friends: Umar & Rasul.

The first house that we went. Makcik even prepared us ubi kayu for dessert. Such a bless. Her house has been badly damaged by the flood yet she shower all of us with blessing & whole-heartedly.

Makcik's house. You couldn't see it, but there were mattress up on the ceiling.

This is the house that my team working on. We clean all the plates, the porch and the yard. My first time of washing dishes for about 7 hours straight!

During breakfast on 2nd day with Madi!

My 2nd day: Kakak's house. There, the most hardworking & sincere person I've ever seen in my entire life. He worked non-stop and keep reminding us to be patient in anything we do. Abdullah from Yemen.

Yeah, thats the damage and the height of the flood. If we were that, we could be sink!

Our 1st day. Makcik prepared us biscuits and tea. Thank you makcik! There, the cool girls team. Hehe. Izzah, Lisa, Madi, Tammy, Mas, Bib, Shikin & Hanim!

Those houses have been badly damaged. They were all muddy and the people lost many things and valuable items at their homes. This is the least that we can do to help. Let us all pray for their safety and the best of health. Amin.

How do we prevent flood from happen? Maybe a better and proper drainage system would at least prevent the water from flooding in just one blink!

There can be at times when you tought a person to be a lil' bit wild at school and the next thing you found her in future wearing proper hijab.

It could be anything.

I find it interesting. Things that I've learnt today:

1. Everyone has secret. Even if he or she is your bestfriend, that doesn't enable you to know all of their secrets. No special access unless they really want you to know about the secret.

2. Sometimes you say things differently what your heart says. But because your mind push you not to say those things maybe because i.e you just don't wanna make things worst or there are feelings that you need to take care of, and so you stop saying it. That doesn't make you a coward who wouldn't dare to voice out your opinion.

3. You hang out with the same crowd simply because you are at your comfortable pace with them. You can be shabby and comot anytime with them.But sometimes, go out and do random things with people the least you hang out with.You will be suprised. Other perceptions of life will expand the horizon and teach you in doing things in future.You tend to think further before you do something.

The bags, scarfs, shirts and many many stuff sold there at a very very cheap price! Like OMG! Tolong la jangan cantik sangat, duit saya pun semakin cantik keluar!

I've heard it before but I never had a chance to go there but for this late evening. After having dinner with my friends, we headed there. I said to them that I did not even withdraw money that much.

As soon as we reach there, I was whispering to myself and started to say things like:

Nadia,please don't buy anything. You've had enough!

Nadia, not enough money. Ingat ye!

At first, I was with my girlfriend checking out the baju,dresses and bags. And then, I realized that I was also walking with my guy friends. Aduhai! Kesian mereka. Takkan la nak biarkan mereka ikut kitaorang check out the dresses,shoes one shop to another. And so I told them to just go lepak anywhere nearby, and once we're done we'll tell them. And yeah, of course. Boys will never say no to mamak and girls will never say no to handbags!

In the end, of course the good side lost. The guts of pulling out your Ringgit Malaysia from your wallet in the exchange of a beautiful pair of shoes,2 cardigans,3 scarfs will definitely win!

Saya Sayang Daddy!!!

this is what happened today. As planned, I was supposed to go to Sunway Pyramid with these 2 girls for ice-skating.It's been a long time since I last skate.Bukan la pandai sangat pun tapi saya suka!

and so daddy called last night and telling me that he's gonna be around KL since they have work to do.So,we might as well go to dinner or something.And yeah me being me,I did not tell daddy and mama that I was going to Sunway Pyramid because I know mama especially will be freaking out and daddy will be saying things like 'baca buku dekat bilik lagi bagus la Nadia'. I know why they keep on saying this to me. because every single time they called, I will be on bed and bila angkat phone suara pun macam layu je tengah tidur kan. The fact is, I do study.

I finished class at 10am today and I rushed to the room and change.I've waited for my friends and start the engine.Tiba-tiba enjin tak boleh start.

and I was like 'Dinda,please don't do this to me.please'

but of course,Dinda being degil like me.

I dah start panick and freak out. So i texted few friends asking them what do I do. While waiting for their reply, I buka tempat enjin yang depan tu. God knows what should I call them.Lupa da. and me being me again, I barely know what should I look for or check. And I end up tengok air sabun,Sheeesh! Ape la Nadia.

This friend of mine suddenly replied and said that she's coming to my place.and so she came and said that it might be battery problem.But she said we can't use jumper because my car is in between others cars which we barely know the owner.

I said Oh My God. What do I do?

so I texted few friends asking for any friends numbers that they might know that could help.

Bayangkan,dari 2 orang bertambah jadi 6 orang perempuan di sekelililng Dinda. And they helped me by calling their friends and asking bout the problems. Alhamdulillah,thank you friends!!!

and suddenly my friend suggest me to call my dad. And so I called, and Daddy asked me to wait and he's coming to UIA this evening.

Later in the evening, daddy came and bring the battery and change it himself! I was like....

Daddy Rocks!

he change it in like 15 minutes.

he said it's normal lah.

and I teased him back saying "kalau Ya ada boyfriend boleh minta tolong dekat boyfriend kan tak payah susahkan daddy" while giving a wink to Mama!

and Daddy says...

selagi daddy hidup daddy akan tolong selagi yang termampu daddy buat.

and yeah that's my daddy. bila cakap pasal boyfriend je, die dah buat tak dengar. Hehehehe. saya gurau je pun. belajar pon tak habis lagi kan...

after everything settle and Dinda is back to normal, then only I told Daddy and Mama the whole story that I was supposed to go to Sunway.

they just laugh and say...

A friend of mine came and we borak-borak at the library.
He said that sometimes even if the person act as if they are really nice to us, sometimes you have no idea how bad he or she is kutuk-ing us behind our back.

I said that's true.

But I also told him something.

Therefore,it's important for you to take note which one is your real friend and which one is your mere friend.

On my part,I've discovered a few real friends.Alhamdulillah.

Kami Prihatin Campaign.

I woke up early this morning and did not even sleep after Subuh. Yeah,I've been trying to practice this lately but most of the time,I end up on bed later on.

Thank God this morning I was helping a friend with this campaign called "Kami Prihatin" organized by Kementerian Wanita,Keluarga & Masyarakat, Utusan, Karyawan (to name a few). And so I had to wake up earlier than what I normally do during the weekend. (who doesn't kan?)

I was put in the Registration bureau at first but it turned out to be me and 4 other friends were in Catering bureau. And so we did enjoy the task of giving out food for breakfast and lunch. All in all,it was a simple task but you have no idea of the chaos that we had to deal with especially when you have to handle around 600 students at one time!

And the even started with the first slot called Bicara Santai and the moderator is Ustaz Akhil Hayy and the panelists are Dr. Hamizah Mohd Hassan from Bahagian Reproduksi Manusia,Lembaga Penduduk dan Pembangunan Keluarga Negara (LPPKN), Dr.Tengku Naufal Tengku Mansor a civil and syarie practicing lawyer and IIUM alumni and also IIUM Student Representative Council.I enjoyed Dr.Tengku Naufal's idea the most. He is warm and approachable.I've met him before for the launching of Sektretariat BELA Malaysia and yes he is still the same as cool as before!His message is really practical and what I remembered he said was the last message to all of us to take care of our own tuuuuuuuut men and women,boys and girls.Jaga diri & jaga maruah!

And then it went on with the formal launching by YB Senator Dato' Sri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil minister of Ministry of Women,Family and Community Development and also accompanied by YB Datuk Abdul Aziz Ishak the Chief Editor of Kumpulan Utusan, Datuk Freddie Fernandez from Karyawan and also our very own YB Prof.Dato' Sri Dr.Syed Arabi Idid, Rector of IIUM.

Later, the second slot: Kami Prihatin Anda Bagaimana? came in with the presence of YB Prof.Madya Dr.Mohamed Fadzil Che Din as the moderator and the panelists are Izzat Mohd Junid,IIUM Law Student/Graduate/Debater as well as the famous amos Imam Muda Ashraf. This slot was really educative yet entertaining. I like how Izzat Mohd Junid explain about how important the government itself take control on how to manage the social ill that we encounter worst day by day. But what I love the most was on how Imam Muda Asharaf noted us about,each of us is contributing something.He said that as for Izzat as he has law background therefore he is contributing us information on how can the government help after the consequence of free sex such as baby dumping and etc but as for him, as he is more familiar with Islamic knowledge,he is contributing something which is the importance of the basis of religion itself shape the community nowadays;in which he is addressing before the social problem happens among us.

And lastly it was the performance by Mawi, Bienda and Mel Wings.

all in all it was a beautiful experience for me.

It's the end of the year again. Time flies like bullet train in Tokyo. Super-duper fast!

Waiting for my class at 2pm. Despite the fact I know I should have study a bit before class,yet I am still here typing new post. Biar lah!

Woooo. Kalau nak lay out kan satu per satu,sangat lah banyak perkara manis,manis,manis and ada la juga yang kurang manis berlaku dalam hidup saya tahun ini.

Anyhow, this was the days I spend with beautiful people in my life lately.

We went to Penang Girls Trip (sampai I terjumpa this one weird fella yang menakutkan dekat Padang Kota Lama!, picnic at Teluk Chempedak, pillow talk, Air Supply concert with Yasmin (one of the most sporting concert-mates so far!), breakfast,dinner,lunch together all the weekends, jog with Syairah (the sweetest jog-mate ever!), kenduri aqiqah at Najihah's, fun fair afterwards with our baju kurung (which I felt like JAIS went on raid at funfair!), bowling and it was a good game!

I wore braces. Setakat ni dah dua kali tercabut. Hahaha,the dentist dah naik pening kepala asyik jumpa muka I tiap-tiap weekend!

Harimau Malaya menang Piala Suzuki AFF !! Alhamdulillah. Malaysia boleeeeehhh! I watched it live streaming yesterday.

Bring Dinda Natalia to campus, yippeeee! So far, I drove her from Gombak to Kuantan safely,the rest ada supir. Hehehe. The journey back to hometown with Nazneen and supir was really fun. First trip je I asyik menyanyi dalam kereta kerana suasana sunyi. Lepas tu, Ya Allah! you wish the 3 of us could be senyap for a while. Penat bercakap.!

Alhamdulillah for the health and wealth that Allah granted to all of us. I am really thankful for that and keep on praying for the best for me and family!

Yeaaaaay! will be going to Penang again this Chinese New Year and will be staying at Batu Feringghi. Then on July, off to Bali! Lepas tu cuti sampai bulan 9! :)

But as for now, baik saya belajar elok-elok dulu k? Kalau result teruk, daddy bising. :)

ps: I'm not home for New Years Eve. Tonnes of plans and yet all I want is just a getaway for this New Years Eve.

I've been asking myself...

What should I do when I was torn in between situations?

I'm in Kuantan now. Just a short weekend break. I have 3 reasons why I'm going back home this weekend. Even abang long was questioning.

1. to bring Dinda Natalia with me
2. to get rid of everything happened in the first week. I just want to ease my mind.
3. to attend family friend's wedding.

but No.2 is everything.

While Daddy was driving this evening, the weather was gloomy. It was raining. The DJ on the radio was playing slow emotional songs. It feels like they do understand the situation.

I was looking at the sky. It is calm and wide.

I wish for my heart to feel such. I really wish.

Unfortunately,my head was aching. it stucks. it just does not function properly. it feels full and cramped.

I want to pour everything happened here.

but maybe...

i just can't.

I just had a minor oral operation about 5 hours ago.

So far,it did not hurt anything since the anaesthetic is working really well. But the blood seems to show no indication to stop.

Dear God,please let it keep working.

Next week is the major process.

I know it's going to hurt. Now I'm scared.

not so Harry Potter anymore!

I've always been a fan of Harry Potter movies until I realised the movies have become a land of too many unnecessary characters. Those Harry Potter fans might be cursing me for this, but yeah all in all, it started to become draggy and boring.

Yet, I still watched the latest movie just now. I finished my appointments earlier than I thought and I was just few metres away from the cinema, and so I stepped in the mall and bought the ticket. It costs me only for 6 bucks. Jimat kan! I didn't know the crowd anymore. :-( there was the time when all of my batch-mates went out, we would always see familiar faces around the town. We said Hi here and there. It was so fun. Just like what my friend said, it's the new generation now. Sigh.

Back to the Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows. I didn't read the book but I suppose it is way better than the movie. Correct me if I'm wrong. Too many characters, draggy story (it was for 2 and 1/2 hours!) and I was even yawning among the kids crowd. I think I hated the fact that they did not coming back to Hogwarts anymore. They were all over places searching for the necklace to be destroyed. Friendship between Harry,Hermione and Ron are seriously tried this time. Draco Malfoy joined team Voldermont. Dobby died. It was just an okay movie. You know, the 'okay' type. You can spend money on it but it's not gonna worth you all cent. No satisfaction guaranteed.

I went for late lunch at Black Canyon. I ordered a plate of rice with fillet and a plate of chicken. Gosh, the chicken was really salty! Nak bagi saya darah tinggi ke apa? But I love my lunch date, Dibby! Thanks Dibby! You made my day. Nanti kita mendaki Bukit Pelindung? ;-)

p/s: Feeling guilty after eating this considering the fact I have not exercise for this entire holiday except for carwash the other day!

Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha,Maaf Zahir Batin.

rasa pelik pula wish untuk raya haji. Sbb masa kecik-kecik dulu,selalu terfikir raya ini untuk orang yang naik haji je. yang belom, tak boleh beraya!

Kali ini beraya di Pekan,Pahang. Alhamdulillah,all Mama's side are home! Memang meriah la satu rumah Tok Mak dan Nyang. Yeah, my family is quite big and kecoh. Mulut semuanya bising dan suka mengusik. Seronok la dapat kumpul satu family macam ni.Senang nak fit in, so siapa siapa yang bakal masuk keluarga kami nnt, (merujuk kepada bakal sepupu-sepupu ipar Hehehe!) insyaAllah mmg akan sentiasa kena sakat dan turut menjadi bising.

Tahun ini,syukur sangat sebab banyak rezeki daging korban diterima dan keluarga pon ada buat korban. So, petang raya tu, kenalah deliver semua daging ni ke rumah jiran-jiran nenek. Fuh. round satu Pekan!

Something happened last night. Which I'm not sure why I'm writing it here. But somehow I think it's related to what is the meaning of "Qorban".

Semalam, ketika kami semua sedang busy nak makan dinner, sesuatu telah berlaku.

Ada my cousin ini dia mmg demam the whole day.So, masa siang hari raya tu,dia memang senyap je.He's just 11 years old.

Tiba-tiba dia diserang sawan. Badan dia tiba-tiba freeze dan kejang. So,my aunty terus masukkan jari dalam mulut dia. Dia gigit jari my aunty.And the whole family dah freaked out. My aunty letakkan sudu dalam mulut dia, and my cousin ni macam tak kenal kitaorang semua dan bila kami panggil nama dia,dia mmg tak sedar dan tak pandang pun.

My aunty bawa ke bilik air dan basuh kepala dia. My aunty dah nak menangis da. My uncle terus nak bawa ke klinik. Masalah pula, klinik tutup. Thank God,my other cousin bawa phone dalam kereta sbb my aunty and uncle semua dah panic sampai terlupa bawak phone. So, they went to the hospital and was sent to ER.

Few hours after that, they're home. It's a relief. My cousin is fine now. And it was due to his fever.

This is the info that I got throughout the experience.

Sawan ‘absens’ (Absence seizure atau Epilepsi Petit Mal)

Ini banyak terjadi di antara penuntut-penuntut sekolah rendah, dan pesakit akan berada dalam keadaan tidak sedar diri dalam masa yang agak singkat (dalam masa 30 saat), tidak melibatkan jatuh atau goncangan badan (konvulsi). Mungkin matanya kerap berkedipan atau anak mata pandang ke atas buat seketika, dan kemungkinan setengah bahagian badan atau mukanya akan mengerenyut.

Selalunya orang tidak perasan serangan yang agak singkat ini berlaku, atau disalah anggap seperti pesakit sedang berangan-angan atau tidak mengambil perhatian sepenuhnya. Terdapat kes-kes bilamana pesakit diserang berkali-kali sehari dan boleh menganggu waktu pelajaran di dalam bilik darjah.

Separuh dari kanak-kanak yang mengalami epilepsi jenis ini beransur pulih apabila mereka semakin dewasa. Walau bagaimanapun, sangatlah penting bagi mereka menerima perubatan untuk mengawal dan mengelakkan dari mendapat jenis sawan yang lain.

Inilah yang patut anda lakukan sekiranya pesakit diserang sawan jenis ini:

Kanak-kanak nampaknya biasa sahaja, tetapi dalam masa yang singkat dia mula tidak sedar di mana dia berada. Jika ini berlaku, temani pesakit sehingga sawan berhenti, dan kemudian beritahu apa yang terjadi padanya sebentar tadi. Ini dapat membantunya untuk meneruskan apa yang sedang ia lakukan sebelum diserang tadi.
Kebanyakan sawan mengambil masa satu atau 2 minit, dan kemudian orang itu balik seperti sediakala. Sekiranya sawan mengambil masa 2 minit, atau pesakit mengalami kecederaan atau pernafasan terhenti, hubungilah ambulans. Jika pesakit tidak dapat bernafas dengan betul, hubungi ambulans dan mulakan bantuan resasitasi mulut ke mulut.

What I'm trying to say here is that, if you were there, at my place as the third person, you may see how quick, how protective, how worry your parents will be once you're sick. They will take care of you more than everything eventhough after all this time, even if you were nakal all the time.

The love and care of a mother and a father. Nothing can ever beat that. I guess, for this Hari Raya, we all learned by the incident. the real life qorban of parents towards the children.

Tak kisah macam mana kita buat jahat pon, ibu dan ayah lah yang membesarkan kita dan mencuba sedaya upaya untuk menyelamatkan kita dalam apa jenis keadaan pun.

Maka, hargailah mereka dengan sebaik-baiknya.

you will never know how to appreciate something/someone unless they are gone for good.

Dear bloggie,

It's been a while. Yes, I am still breathing. Alhamdulillah. Just in few weeks, I'll be sitting for my finals.Yet I still have the time to write this.Hahaha.I can't afford to concentrate looking at multiple statutes and cases for hours and hours.I need a break.

I watched Eat Pray Love. Who wouldn't,right? Julia Robert plays Elizabeth Gilbert aka Liz. She did it perfectly awesome. It's a beautiful movie. What I meant here is the movie is definitely not cliche.It was inspired by a book written by Elizabeth Gilbert herself.I even bought the book just now.I've read couple of pages, and so far it's interesting!It keeps me flipping to the next page.

I can't help but to notice a major difference when a writer wrote a book based on him or her personal experience. Whenever I read such book, the story will definitely touch my heart. I have this weird imagination when I read a book, not the law text book of course. I'll imagine the setting of the story in the book.I'll be the director and make sure that everything in its place.Imagination ends whenever I finally fell asleep with the book wide open.LOL.

I also bought To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee and My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult.Yipee!Now I need to really divide my time properly or else I'll end up attaching myself with those books and neglecting Mr.Law Textbooks and Cases.

I was asked to fill Law Attachment Programme form which should be submitted by 30 October 2010. In which of course, I do nothing with regards to the application.I've been collecting law firms numbers around Kuantan. I have two law firms in mind. I haven't call them yet. InsyaAllah, by this Monday I'll call them. The third choice...I was thinking of Amanah Raya.

I just realised something. I watched 'Ugly Betty' the other day. There was an episode when Adriana Lima was one of the special appearances. She called this one particular fruit called 'TICO BERRY' from Brazil. To me,it looked nothing less than a rambutan,which can be found abundantly in South East Asia.So, I googled. Hahaha! Some of the webs said that there might be a chance that Tico Berry does not even exist. So, I guess what Adriana Lima was promoting on the show was Rambutan. A red hairy with sweet taste. Now, I am imagining the taste of Rambutan on the saliva. Sedapnya manis manis. :)

I have difficulty in choosing my elective for next semester. I currently doing Introduction of Copyright & Design Right this semester. Quite a lot of cases, and rather subjective interpretations. I was thinking of Building Contract or maybe Revenue Law.

Everyone's been busy this semester.I feel the busy-ness now. We used to have lots of dinner outside campus when we were in First Year. But...not now.It's rare for us to gather around and just lepak except for celebrating someone's birthday.The courseworks are pretty much hectic enought to tight everyone's arm and legs from wandering around KLCC or maybe Wangsa Walk.

I am sorry if I write random stuff.But...my mind is just all over things.Here and there,the toughts.

I just received a phone call saying that someone might be going to Bali and London before me and what matter the most is WITHOUT me. :'(

The college academic calendar proves that I'll be enjoying holiday for around 3 weeks 6 days starting from 16 December 2010. Plans,plans,plans are needed asap.Erm...kalau plan saya belajar memasak, cukup ke 3 minggu? :D dari basic sampai intermediate level pon okay. Hahaha.

It's almost 3 am here. I have a draft letter of legal opinion to write on the issue of Bona Fide Purchaser to be submitted in the morning.

Salam Aidilfitri.

Masa saya sedang menaip 'entry' ini, saya sedang menonton satu siaran TV3 berjudul Takdir Sedang Berbisik. Pelakonnya adalah Umie Aida, Rosyam Nor, Faizal Hussein, Ummi Nazeera. Sangat menarik. Saya lihat karakter Umie Aida sangat menjadi. Dia gemar marah-marah, cakap kasar-kasar.

Saya baru sedar sesuatu. Saya cakap kasar kadang-kadang. Buruk rupanya perangai ini. Saya rasa mungkin saya tak lah kasar cuma saya sangat 'loud' so sometimes people may misinterpret it as rude. Tapi saya tak ada niat menyakiti hati sesiapa.

Sepanjang saya berkawan, saya baru tersedar sesuatu. Saya kurang suka kalau sesiapa cakap dengan saya kasar-kasar. Sebab kalau die cakap macam tu, saya ada potensi cakap kasar dengan mereka.

Saya sendiri tak suka orang jerit-jerit dekat saya. :|

Saya hendak minta maaf sekiranya saya cakap kasar dan menyakiti sesiapa sahaja anda.

Tapi...

sekiranya orang tu tak pernah tengking saya, marah saya, cakap kasar dengan saya...

saya hendak berterima kasih!

In this Holy Month of Ramadhan, I couldn't help but to notice a culture or should I say a phenomenon that will always be done by most companies in Malaysia,celebrities,TV personalities as well as any gracious individual.

Buka Puasa with the orphans,old folks and etc.

Alhamdulillah,this is the month when all of these people were highly appreciated and celebrated and they will be brought to nice hotels for lavish dinner buffet,entertained by various performances and to add in further joy,they will be granted with 'duit raya' and hampers.

Somehow it shows that Malaysians do actually care.Thank God,there is at least a piece of humanity in some part of our society.

Couple of months ago,me and my friend,Fiza went to this place called Baitul Husna.It was the time for few weeks break back then and we had nothing to do and so I decided to search online any volunteer opportunity in Kuantan.Then,I found a newly established orphanage called Baitul Husna and as I scrolled their blog at www.baitulhusnabktskl.blogspot.com and I was glad they do welcome any kind of help there.

As I still not be able to earn my very own big bucks yet,I came up with an idea on how actually I could chip in here and there for the kids.Therefore, I emailed Encik Hilmi,the person who officially in charge there and asked a few questions to him.Later,he invited me to come and visit them at Baitul Husna which is located in Bukit Sekilau.It was around 20 minutes from my house.Then,I rushed to my phone and texted Nur Hafizah Malik to join me visiting them.

The moment we stepped in there,we were not really sure what to expect and we slowly knocked the door.Alhamdulillah,we were welcomed and we finally saw what is it like to live in the old surau.Overall,there are 10 girls staying there as well as 2 guardians who look after them to cook,clean,teach and pretty much every household job done by them.The kids ranged at 10 to 12 years old.

Therefore,I suggested to Encik Hilmi that what if me and my friends tutor them at night?It can be just short 2 to 3 hours.I was thankful he fully accepted my suggestion.

And then we began to go there at night around 8.40 p.m. right after Isya' prayer and help them with homework and exercises.My first day there?I was asked to teach them Mathematics!Oh man!Gosh!Hehehe.Thank God I did well and they can actually keep up with me.We choose to focus on 5 girls who will be sitting UPSR this year.Fiza were handy with the 3 girls and I was pretty much occupied with the other 2 girls.The same routine went all through the 2 weeks except with different subjects of course namely; English,Bahasa Malaysia,Kajian Tempatan and even Science!

After Fiza went back to her campus,I decided to bring my other friends who seem might be interested in this lil' project.Thus,I texted couple of friends.Few days later,I got positive response from them.Therefore,once again I went back there,only this time with new tutors for them.These tutors named Nada Farha,Muadibbah,Mumtaz,Madeehah Nazneen and Izyan Liyana.This time around,we were able to focus on 2 girls for each tutor.Somehow,I was amazed that night.Everyone was really committed to teach them and motivate them as much as they can.From school stuff to family background to hobbies & ambitions stories were generally covered that night!We came back for few times after that.

Few days later,I received a private message on Facebook from my long-lost contact friend back in primary school.She said she was interested in what we were doing,and inquire about few stuff.Later,I directed her to Encik Hilmi's contact just in case she needs any further information.Couple of days later,after she came back to Malaysia for few weeks of holiday,I heard she as well as my other friend who was also just landed came visit and tutor the kids!They are Wan Shamilah and Wan Noorashikin.Shamilah was really excited about it and I heard Shikin was even teaching them Mandarin language as that is her current expertise!Kudos girls!

Couple of days ago,I visited them again with my friends.Just a short visit before they went back for raya with the only family members they have.Yes,as expected they were really happy this Ramadhan as they had many buka puasa invitations as well as raya donations.They were fascinated with their baju raya and everything.

Syukur ke hadrat Illahi ke atas semua rezeki yang dilimpahkan oleh Allah S.W.T kepada mereka.

I still remember the memories of teaching,lecturing,motivating,persuading and even eating durian together with these beautiful kids.Oh!I just realised something!7 out of 8 tutors are actually my friends back in SK Assunta. Alhamdulillah,finally we have something in common to share stories with after years of not meeting each other kan!

As I believe the way to change one's life is via the quality of education that we received, I therefore would like to invite all of you to join us tutoring these kids and help them with homeworks, readings, mathematics and pretty much in everything that is beneficial worldly and Hereafter.

You don't need to have a million dollar to help, but simply lend our two hands together and also a piece of knowledge that we've learnt in school as well as in college or even the life itself is a thoughtful journey.
